Liverpool warmed up for their Champions League Group E clash with the Italian side in impressive fashion as Fernando Torres claimed a hat-trick in a thumping victory at Anfield, with Ryan Babel also claiming a brace and captain Steven Gerrard on target.

Benitez's side have now won their past six games in all competitions, scoring an impressive 18 goals in the process, and it is that kind of form that has Prandelli concerned. Torres, with eight goals in the Premier League already this season, is a particular worry.

"How do you stop him [Torres]? You must concentrate all the time, and be very lucky because he is so good," Prandelli said. "We have watched the last three Liverpool games on DVD and we know what a difficult task we face. Liverpool are very strong, very talented, but sometimes they are unpredictable. They are a great side, but even great sides give you opportunities.

"Liverpool scored six on Saturday and are in very good form, I must admit that when I heard that result it did make me a little more nervous than I was before. We have always said that we want to experience the Champions League with enthusiasm, even if that means running a few risks."

While Liverpool opened their Champions League campaign with a home win over Debrecen in matchday one, Fiorentina were beaten 1-0 in France by Lyon.
