CHICAGO -- The U.S. national team will play at Germany in October in the first meeting of the two most successful women's soccer nations in nearly three years.
The Americans will play at the newly constructed Impuls Arena in Augsburg, Germany, on Oct. 29. The stadium is one of nine venues that will host matches during the 2011 Women's World Cup.
The two teams haven't met since January 2007. The U.S. is 16-4-4 against Germany.
