FC Twente coach Steve McClaren has advised Marko Arnautovic to remain at the Eredivisie club rather than have his head turned by reported attention from Chelsea or Inter Milan.
Reports in Holland suggest the 20-year-old has already agreed personal terms with the west London club, while speculation in Italy links him with a move to Jose Mourinho's Inter.
McClaren, though, reckons it would be in the young forward's best interests to stay in Enschede for another 12 months.
"Marko is a big talent, who certainly has the capacity to succeed at the top," the Englishman told AD Sportwereld. "But it would have been better for him to have stayed for another year at FC Twente.
"Then Marko would have been sure of a starting place and he could develop further in a quiet environment. I advised him that too, but he is very passionate and ambitious."
