Hull City have reportedly agreed a fee of £5m with Fulham for midfielder Jimmy Bullard, according to Sky Sports News.

The 30-year-old has been in negotiations with the south west London club for weeks over a new contract, with the player's wage demands in excess of what Fulham are prepared to pay.

Bolton tabled a bid for Bullard last week, but it was rejected, while the midfielder has also been linked with a move back to Wigan, where he first made his name in the top flight.

Fulham manager Roy Hodgson admitted recently: "We're not trying to get rid of Jimmy Bullard. But Jimmy Bullard is trying to get a contract which suits him.

''He's not sure we can provide that contract which suits him and as a result we have to be realistic and there might be clubs out there who can offer him that and who can match the transfer fee that we think he's worth."

Doncaster's FA Cup hero Brian Stock is being lined up as a replacement for Bullard, who now looks set to leave Craven Cottage.
