Argentinos Juniors are set to appoint Claudio Vivas as their new head coach.
Vivas will sign his contract on Friday, according to the club's official website.
Vivas, a former assistant to Marcelo Bielsa with the Argentina national team, will succeed Nestor Gorosito, who has moved to giants River Plate.
Argentinos Juniors president Luis Segura said: "Vivas convinced us with the profile and excellent references we've been given on him by all the people we consulted."
Argentinos recently finished 11th in the Apertura and reached the semi-finals of the Copa Sudamericana.
