Al Ittihad remain at the top of the Saudi League table despite being held to a 0-0 draw by defending champions Al Hilal.

Chances were limited in the stalemate as Al Ittihad retained their three-point lead over second-placed Al Hilal.

Elsewhere, Nassir Al Shimrani struck a hat-trick as Al Shabab claimed a 5-0 win over Abha to move into third place in the standings.

Abdoh Autef and Yousef Al Salem were also on target in the rout.

Tunisian striker Amir Akrout netted twice to as Al Wahda defeated Al Watani 2-0, while Al Ittifaq edged Al Raed 2-1.
