Heineken kicked off the new season of the UEFA Champions League with the launch of the Heineken Be Prepared online challenge.
The Be Prepared online challenge is part of the new Heineken and UEFA Champions League 'Great Together' campaign. Heineken, in its fourth year of sponsorship of the UEFA Champions League, will be sending the winning team of the Be Prepared online challenge on an all-expense paid trip to watch a live screening of the UEFA Champions League Final on an exotic tropical island, together with other winners from around the globe.
The Heineken Be Prepared online challenge is a unique concept because consumers not only get to be part of a fun, interactive mission to prepare for a perfect match night, but to win, a team of three friends will need to complete the game together. The winning team will then be flown to an exotic location to watch a live screening of the UEFA Champions League Final."

The challenge begins with a group of friends preparing themselves for the perfect match night. Everything looks set; however one crucial thing is missing: the Heineken. It's your job, together with your friends, to save the match night, by getting the beer supply ready on time. Each friend has to complete his challenge before passing it onto the next friend.
There are three games: Beer Delivery, Mexican Wave and Beer Slide. The teams that complete the games in the fastest times will win the Grand Prize. The initiating team member plays Beer Delivery. He has to memorise a map, then guide the hopelessly lost Heineken beer truck to the supermarket.
In game two, the Mexican Wave, the team member must complete a Mexican Wave with the online figures. A good sense of rhythm and timing is needed to score five complete waves.
In game three, the Beer Slide, five beers are slid along the table and the contestant must catch them at the right time. Someone with a steady hand and great timing is needed to win this final round.
The Heineken Be Prepared Online Challenge is part of its new UEFA Champions League 'Great Together' campaign.
