Warren out for rest of season with elbow injury

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Revolution backup goalie Doug Warren will miss the remainder of the season because of an elbow injury.

The team placed the 27-year-old Warren on the injured list Tuesday. He hyperextended his right elbow during practice on Sept. 16.

Warren played in three MLS games for the Revolution this year, posting a 2.09 goals against average while earning a win and a tie.

The Revolution are second in the Eastern Conference.
