Under-fire Tottenham sporting director Damien Comolli has expressed his confidence that his team will recover from their poor start to the season.

EmpicsThe former Spurs boss is confident of his future.
Defeat by Hull on Sunday condemned rock-bottom Spurs to their worst league start since 1912 and increased pressure on manager Juande Ramos.

Comolli, who oversees a transfer policy that has been blamed for Spurs' current malaise told Sky Sports News: "The only thing I can say is that everyone at the club, the staff and the players, are working very hard to turn things around and to bring positive results.

"The message to the fans is that everyone is working very hard and we will turn things around."

There have been suggestions Ramos could be exiting the lane in similar early-season style to predecessor Martin Jol but Comolli insists that the Spaniard will not be sacked as the North Londoners seek "stability. We don't need change. We need to get results.

"As a club we are very united - the board and the coaching staff, the players and the coaching staff, and the players and the board. We are in this together so we don't want to single out anyone."
