Bologna have given coach Daniele Arrigoni a vote of confidence despite the club´s poor run in Serie A.
Wednesday´s 3-0 defeat at home to Udinese marked the Rossoblu´s third consecutive loss and meant they slipped into the relegation zone.
However, club executive Renzo Menarini said: "Arrigoni is and will remain the coach of Bologna.
"We had a difficult start to the campaign with the team having a complicated calendar against the strongest teams.
"We have faced these teams with dignity and perhaps we have made mistakes but it doesn´t mean we should put into question the work done by the coach."
Bologna, who gained promotion to Italy´s top flight after finishing second in Serie B last term, enjoyed a strong start to the campaign with a 2-1 victory at AC Milan.
However, they go into Sunday´s game against Napoli looking to bounce back from consecutive defeats to Atalanta, Fiorentina and Udinese.
