ROME, August 29 (Serie A) - Roma have completed the signing of French striker Jeremy Menez from Monaco, the Serie A club confirmed.
The 21-year-old joins the capital club on a four-year contract in a deal worth 10.5million euros.
A statement on the Roma website read: 'AS Roma have agreed with AS Monaco a contract for the acquisition of the sporting rights of the player Jeremy Menez.
'A four-year contract has been signed with the player, which provides him with a gross sum of 2.3million euros for the 2008/09 and 2009/10 seasons, 2.5million for the 2010/11 season and 2.7million for 2011/12.'
The transfer was also confirmed on the Monaco's website.
The news brings to an end months of speculation over the future of the 21-year-old, who was one of the brightest stars of a poor season for Monaco last year.
Menez will now be in line to make his debut with the Giallorossi in Sunday´s Serie A opener against Napoli at the Stadio Olimpico, having recovered from recent groin surgery which ruled him out of Monaco's opening games in Ligue 1.
