Stephen Foster has been ruled out of Barnsley's FA Cup semi-final clash with Cardiff.

The defender has been fundamental in the Tykes road to Wembley scoring the equaliser in the fifth round 2-1 victory at Liverpool, but has suffered a foot injury ahead of Saturday's tie.

Boss Simon Davey told the club's official website: 'Stephen has a badly bruised foot. It it very unfortunate for him but he will not be fit in time for Saturday.'
