Full-back Bacary Sagna returns to the squad after missing the 4-0 FA Cup defeat by Manchester United because of family reasons. Theo Walcott (thigh) and Denilson (hamstring) are also available.

However, the Gunners are still short on numbers with Johan Djourou (groin), Robin van Persie (thigh), Abou Diaby (calf) and Tomas Rosicky (hamstring) all still sidelined.

Emmanuel Eboue will be able to play, as his ban following a red card at Old Trafford is only for domestic games.
