Sydney FC have received a double dose of good news with Iain Fyfe and Robbie Middleby both cleared to play in the second leg of the A-League minor semi-final.
Midfielder Middleby had been in doubt after suffering a hamstring strain in the first leg against Queensland while Fyfe was expected to come under scrutiny for an off the ball incident involving Roar attacker Michael Zullo.
Both, though, will be available for the match at Suncorp Stadium on February 8, with the tie all square after a 0-0 draw in the opening game in Sydney last Friday.
After reviewing footage of the incident, Football Federation Australia's match review committee has decided defender Fyfe has no case to answer.
While an MRI scan has shown Middleby's injury is only a mild hamstring strain with the midfielder expected to be fit for the return leg.
