BERLIN, Dec 9 (Reuters) - Three police officers were seriously injured during violence at Saturday's Bundesliga match between Bochum and Karlsruhe, Bochum police said on Sunday.
One of the officers suffered a spinal fracture and was hospitalised after Saturday's match, police said in a statement. The other two officers were also badly hurt after receiving kicks to the body and head.
Police said two people were arrested and that criminal proceedings were under way.
Bochum and Karlsruhe drew the match 2-2.
