The game-winning goal was scored by freshman midfielder Caroline Simpson who volleyed home a loose ball in the 107th minute of play. The goal was Simpson's fifth of the year and second game-winning goal for the Dogs.
"I think winning both of these games was so important for us to show that our results are not just luck," said Simpson. "We are doing so well and we have so much potential, it is really exciting. It felt so good to score the game-winner. We were all so tired, we played our hearts our and we were so happy to get this win."
