Chris Coleman is confident he will succeed in bringing Real Sociedad back to the Primera Liga next season.
The former Fulham manager was officially unveiled as the new coach of the Basque outfit on Thursday after signing a three-year deal.
'It has not been a difficult decision to join Real Sociedad,' said Coleman, who will be assisted by Steve Kean.
'We didn't come here for tourism but to work hard to bring this team back to the Primera Liga.'
Coleman succeeds Miguel Angel Lotina, who was dismissed shortly after Sociedad were demoted to the Spanish second division for the first time in 40 years.
'We are aware that Real are going to be the team to beat in the Segunda Liga next season,' the Welshman added.
'We need talent and hard work in order to overcome this challenge.'
