SEOUL, July 5 (Reuters) - Forward Cho Jae-jin scored twice as South Korea defeated Uzbekistan 2-1 on Thursday, the final warm-up for both before next week's start of the Asian Cup.
Cho fired the hosts in front after five minutes, taking a pass from Choi Sung-kuk and blasting home from inside the penalty area.
He doubled the lead 15 minutes later, heading home a cross from Yeom Ki-hun.
Uzbekistan hit back after the break and midfielder Server Djeparov pulled a goal back from the penalty-spot after forward Alexander Geynrikh was tripped from behind
