Doctors allow Baric to lead Albania

March 26, 2007

TIRANA, March 26 (Reuters) - Albania coach Otto Baric will be in charge of the team for their Euro 2008 Group G qualifier in Bulgaria on Wednesday after doctors told him he was well enough to travel, Albanian media reports said on Monday.

Baric, 74, missed Albania's 0-0 draw at home to Slovenia on Saturday because he had heart and breathing problems and doctors advised him to stay in bed for more than 10 days.

Albania are second from bottom in their qualifying group with two points from four matches.
