ROME, Feb 26 (Reuters) - Cagliari have sacked coach Franco Colomba and recalled Marco Giampaolo, the Serie A club said on their website on Monday.

The team have slipped to 14th in the 20-team division, three points above the relegation zone, after earning one point from their last four matches.

The 2-0 home defeat by Lazio on Sunday prompted the Sardinian club to recall Giampaolo, who started this season as coach but was sacked in December.

Colomba became the second Serie A coach to lose his job on Monday. Earlier, Torino dismissed Alberto Zaccheroni and recalled Gianni De Biasi, who led them to promotion last season.
