ROTTERDAM, Netherlands, Feb 25 (Reuters) - AZ Alkmaar and Ajax Amsterdam shared the points in a 1-1 draw on Sunday to fall further behind Dutch league leaders PSV Eindhoven.
Ajax, reduced to 10 men with Edgar Davids booked twice in four minutes before the break, took the lead 20 minutes into the second half after Leonardo set up Kenneth Perez.
Third placed Alkmaar, however, brought in Maarten Martens who salvaged a point for the home side 10 minutes before time.
PSV are top with 63 points and eight matches remaining, following their 1-0 home over Groningen on Saturday. Ajax remain second with 56 points, one above Alkmaar.
Feyenoord are fifth with 46 points after a 3-3 draw at bottom side ADO Den Haag, who finished with 10 men after a late red card for Mark de Vries.
Rick Hoogendorp equalised twice for ADO to cancel out goals from Jonas Kolkka and Angelos Charisteas, before Laurent Delorge gave ADO the lead midway through the second half.
Charisteas, however, scored his ninth of the season on 72 points to prevent Feyenoord's fourth consecutive defeat away from home. ADO remain bottom with 15 points.
