Cristiano Ronaldo can add Massimo Moratti to his growing list of admirers, but the Inter Milan owner has ruled out a move for the Manchester United winger over the summer.

Ronaldo has been heavily linked with Barcelona and Real Madrid in recent weeks even though United manager Sir Alex Ferguson and chief executive David Gill have consistently insisted the Portugal international is going nowhere.

Inter coach Roberto Mancini is also an fan but Moratti concedes prising the 22-year-old away from Old Trafford could be tricky.

He told Gazzetta dello Sport: 'Ronaldo is indeed an exceptional player.

'But he represents Manchester United and it would be difficult to get him to us.

'Also, the position in which he plays is not an absolute requirement.'
