Macclesfield boss Paul Ince has reiterated he has had no contact from Coventry about the vacant managerial position at the Championship club.
Having defied the odds to give the Silkmen a great chance of staying in the Football League in his first managerial appointment, Ince was quickly installed as the favourite to succeed Micky Adams at the Ricoh Arena.
Leading bookmakers Bet 365 have suspended betting on the former England midfielder becoming the next Sky Blues boss but Ince himself maintains there is nothing behind the rumours.
'Obviously I was aware of the situation when it was in the paper a couple of weeks ago and that's all there has been to it,' said Ince. 'If somebody out there knows more than I do and they're putting a bet on I'd like to know who it is but I'm focussed on Macclesfield and that's all I've concentrated on since I've been here.
'I'll let other people talk about what's in the paper because I don't want anything unsettling the players.
'Obviously it's flattering to be linked with any club because it shows you're doing okay but that's all it is and as far as I'm concerned there's nothing concrete in it and I'm just focussing on what I'm doing at Macclesfield.'
