ATHENS, Jan 27 (Reuters) - Sixteen-year-old Sotiris Ninis scored his first goal for Panathinaikos in a 2-0 home win over Panionios in the Super League on Saturday.
Ninis, who became the club's second youngest player when he made his debut three weeks ago, netted one minute into the second half.
Dimitris Salpigidis had put Panathinaikos in front in the sixth minute.
The victory took Panathinaikos up to second place with 41 points from 19 games, leapfrogging AEK Athens who visit Iraklis on Sunday.
Leaders Olympiakos Pireaus (46 points) host fourth-placed OFI Crete on Sunday.
In Saturday's other game, Larissa came from a goal down to beat Egaleo 2-1 thanks to a penalty in injury time.
