January 25, 2007

The 2007 Major League Soccer All-Star Game will be played at the Colorado Rapids' new stadium in Commerce City, Colo., according to a report posted Wednesday night on The Denver Post's Web site.

The Post cited a league source and reported that the announcement would be made at a news conference Thursday morning.

No date was reported for the game at the new Dick's Sporting Goods Park. Last season's game was held Aug. 5 in Chicago and pitted the MLS All-Stars against Chelsea of the English Premier League.
