Senegal midfielder Fadiga given trial at Watford

January 18, 2007

Watford boss Adrian Boothroyd has taken former Inter Milan and Bolton player Khalilou Fadiga on trial.

Midfielder Fadiga is a Senegal international and is one of four players to move to Vicarage Road on trial as Boothroyd aims to strengthen his squad for the Hornets' survival battle.

The 32-year-old has been without a club since leaving Wanderers at the end of last season.

Also on trial at Watford are Czech forward David Strihavka, who has scored seven goals in 15 games for Banik Ostrava this term, Austrian defender Markus Berger and Maltese striker Daniel Bogdanovic.
