CAIRO, Nov 21 (Reuters) - Al Ahli midfielder Amro Samaka has been banned for six months for failing a drug test, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) said on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old tested positive after an African Champions League match in July but CAF did not specify the prohibited substance involved.
Samaka played a bit part in Al Ahli's Champions League win this year and his positive test will not affect the Egyptian club's title triumph.
