Blackburn Rovers defender Andre Ooijer returns to Premiership action insisting England will qualify for Euro 2008 despite a stuttering start to their campaign.
Ooijer played for Holland in Wednesday's 1-1 draw with England in Amsterdam and believes Steve McClaren's side have too much quality to miss out on a place in Austria and Switzerland despite recent poor results.
'England have a wonderful team with good players,' Ooijer said. 'I know England are out of the top two in their group at the moment but I am confident it will eventually be fine for England.
'They are full of quality and the quality always comes to the top in the end. They are going to start winning and, when that happens, they will be in the first two in the group.
'I play in England and I see the players and how good they are. I am surprised they have not produced better results to date. Once they get on a run they will be fine and they will keep winning then.
'They should not be panicking at all. England have had some criticism and it's the same with Holland in that if we lose a couple of games the criticism comes and a little of confidence goes, but that is normal in football.
'I think when a run starts it is going to be fine for England.'
