FORTALEZA, Nov 14 (Reuters) - Fortaleza, relegated to the Brazilian second division at the weekend on Tuesday named Daniel Frasson as their seventh coach of the year.

Frasson, who replaces Roberval Davino, will take charge for the last three matches of the season, the club said on their website.

Davino became the sixth coach of the year to lose his job at the club after they crashed 3-0 to Internacional on Saturday.

That result, coupled with wins for fellow strugglers Sao Caetano, Ponte Preta and Fluminense condemned the club to relegation.

Jair Pereira, Jair Picerni, Marcio Bittencourt, Toninho Cecilio and Helio dos Anjos were the other occupants of the hot seat this year.

Cecilio had the shortest stint in at two games while Davino's 13 games was the longest.

There have been 40 coaching changes at Brazil's 20 first division clubs since the season started in January.

Fluminense and Sao Caetano have both employed six coaches while only Sao Paulo, Internacional, Parana, Vasco da Gama, Gremio and Santos have kept the same coaches.

Marcelo Vilar was twice fired by Palmeiras while Paulo Cesar Gusmao parted company with Cruzeiro and then Sao Caetano in the space of two weeks.
