Denmark lose four more players for Czech friendly

COPENHAGEN, Nov 13 (Reuters) - Denmark's preparations for Wednesday's against the Czech Republic in Prague have been hit by four more absentees, the Danish Football Association (DBU) said on Monday.

VfB Stuttgart forward Jon Dahl Tomasson, Fulham midfielder Claus Jensen, Fiorentina forward Martin Jorgensen and defender Per Kroldrup will not travel for the match.

Coach Morten Olsen has decided to rest the first two, while Jorgensen and Kroldrup were injured in their team's 3-1 win over Atalanta at the weekend.

Aston Villa defender Martin Laursen and Charlton Athletic forward Dennis Rommedahl pulled out last week through injury.

The four will be replaced by Brondby defender Per Nielsen, Nuremberg midfielder Jan Kristiansen, FC Midtjylland midfielder Mikkel Thygesen and Esbjerg forward Jesper Bech.

Midfielder Niki Zimling from Esbjerg was named an alternate.
