Denmark's Laursen, Rommedahl out of Czech friendly

COPENHAGEN, Nov 10 (Reuters) - Charlton Athletic forward Dennis Rommedahl and Aston Villa defender Martin Laursen have pulled out of Denmark's squad for the friendly against the Czech Republic next week because of injuries, the Danish Football Association (DBU) said on Friday.

Denmark coach Morten Olsen called up West Bromwich Albion defender Martin Albrechtsen to replace Laursen, who limped out of Villa's 4-0 League Cup defeat by Chelsea with a knee injury on Wednesday.

Albrechtsen has three caps, but has not played for Denmark since 2003.

Olsen will not replace Rommedahl, who picked up a groin injury in Charlton's 1-0 win over Manchester City in the Premier League last weekend, and will have only 18 players for the Czech match in Prague next Wednesday.
