GLASGOW, Sept 1 (Reuters) - Rangers have confirmed the signing of Bosnian international defender Sasa Papac on a three-year deal.
The Scottish Premier League side flew Papac to Glasgow to complete the move before the midnight transfer deadline on Thursday and jetted him back to his country's international training camp, Rangers said on their website.
The 26-year-old Austria Vienna defender had originally flown from Sarajevo to Malta with Bosnia-Herzegovina before Rangers flew him out to sign and jetted him back for their Euro 2008 Group C qualifier with Malta on Saturday.
'It has been a crazy day,' Papac told the website.
'But it has all been worth it because I was determined that I would make this transfer. it is fantastic for me to join a great club like this.'
