Celtic have completed the signing of Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink on a three-year deal.
The 27-year-old striker put pen to paper after the Scottish champions agreed a fee of around £3.4million with PSV Eindhoven.
Celtic also have the option of retaining the Dutchman for a further year if he impresses during his time at Parkhead.
Vennegoor of Hesselink saw a proposed move to Porto fall through but has successfully managed to thrash out personal terms with the Glasgow giants.
He began his career at FC Twente before joining PSV in 2001.
He weighed in with 11 goals last season and found the back of the net in their win over NEC Nijmegen at the weekend.
And it is that sort of form new boss Gordon Strachan will be hoping to see at Parkhead this season.
And the Celtic boss - who also secured the services of Wolves defender Lee Naylor in a £600,000 move today - clearly hopes the towering Dutch forward will be the answer to his goalsciring problems.
Charlie Mulgrew joined Wolves from Celtic as part of the Naylor deal.
