Ruud van Nistelrooy was on target as Real Madrid beat Real Salt Lake 2-0 in the final match of their US Tour.
Van Nistelrooy, a £10.3million signing from Manchester United last month, opened the scoring just before the break with a penalty, awarded when Willis Forko felled Antonio Cassano.
David Beckham and Robinho were among five players introduced by coach Fabio Capello at half-time.
And the Brazilian almost made an immediate impact, seeing a shot well saved by Salt Lake keeper Jay Nolly.
The match turned ugly after 58 minutes when Atiba Harris was sent-off for a reckless lunge at Spain international Sergio Ramos.
A melee involving several players ensued and when the dust had settled Harris was shown a red card.
Robinho then doubled Madrid's lead seven minutes later, taking Van Nistelrooy's pass in his stride before slotting the pall past Nolly.
