Coventry managing director Paul Fletcher insists the club are still in the hunt to sign Tottenham goalkeeper Marton Fulop.
The Sky Blues' move to land the 23-year-old appeared to have hit the buffers last month when Spurs rejected a renewed bid for the player, who still has a year left on his contract at White Hart Lane.
But Fletcher believes the deal is far from dead and is as keen as ever to bring the Hungarian to the Ricoh Arena.
`We are trying everything in our power to get Marton Fulop at a price that the club can afford,' he told the Coventry Evening Telegraph.
`He had been linked with Wigan but they seem to be making a move for Chris Kirkland, which perhaps helps our cause a bit.
`But the thing we have in our favour is the fact that Marton wants to come here. Unfortunately we appear to be caught in a bit of a waiting game.'
