BERLIN, May 18 (Reuters) - Brazilian midfielder Ze Roberto will not extend his contract with Bundesliga champions FC Bayern Munich.
'The negotiations with Ze have unfortunately not led to any results,' Bayern manager Uli Hoeness said in a statement.
Bayern said it was unclear where he would be going once his contract ran out on June 30, but added that Roberto would not be joining another Bundesliga club.
The 31-year old, who is a member of Brazil's national squad for the World Cup kicking off on June 9, has played 110 Bundesliga matches for the Munich team since joining in 2002.
Roberto is the fourth player set to leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season.
France defender Bixente Lizarazu and German midfielder Jens Jeremies are due to retire at the end of the season while compatriot midfielder Michael Ballack will join Chelsea.
