SAN JOSE, May 15 (Reuters) - Defender Roy Miller was the unlucky player as Costa Rica confirmed their final 23-man squad for the World Cup finals on Monday.
Costa Rica had named a 24-man squad on May 1 and the federation confirmed on its official website Monday that the Norwegian-based player had been cut by coach Alexandre Guimaraes.
Costa Rica, who will be playing at their third World Cup, face Ecuador, Poland and hosts Germany in their first-round group.
