Austria Vienna complete double with Cup win

VIENNA, May 9 (Reuters) - Austria Vienna won a 10th league and cup double after romping to a 3-0 Cup final win over lowly Mattersburg on Tuesday.

Three days after beating Salzburg to the title, Frenkie Schinkel's men proved too strong for the league's second-bottom team who they had already beaten four times this season.

Slovakian striker Filip Sebo put the Cup holders ahead in the 27th minute after latching on to a poor backpass.

Norwegian forward Sigurd Rushfeldt then grabbed his final goal for the club ahead of a move back home to Tromso when he rounded the defence on the stroke of halftime to make it 2-0.

Argentine defender Fernando Troyansky wrapped up the easy victory with eight minutes left by heading in a free-kick from Slovenian international Nastja Ceh.

The win saw Austria lift the trophy for a record 25th time and stretch an impressive record in the competition since they have now gone nearly 7-1/2 hours without conceding a Cup goal.
