SPL: Motherwell end season with home draw

GLASGOW, May 6 (Reuters) - Motherwell brought down the curtain on their Scottish Premier League season with a 1-1 draw against Dundee United on Saturday.

Jim Hamilton scored the second half opener when he followed up his own penalty which was pushed on to the post by United keeper Craig Samson. But Trinidad and Tobago's Collin Samuel levelled with a late goal.

Elsewhere, relegated Livingston lost 1-0 at Falkirk in their final SPL game as Danny McBreen headed home an Alan Gow cross.

In the other bottom six collision, Inverness Caley Thistle won 1-0 at Dunfermline with an Alan Morgan goal after 53 minutes.

Champions Celtic, with 90 points from 37 games, play at Aberdeen on Sunday while runners-up Hearts on 74 points are at Rangers and Kilmarnock tackle Hibernian.
