Betis striker Oliveira agrees loan move to Sao Paolo

MADRID, April 11 (Reuters) - Real Betis's Brazil forward Ricardo Oliveira has agreed a loan move to Brazilian club Sao Paulo, the player confirmed on Tuesday.

'I will be in Brazil until August 10 and will return in time to start pre-season training with Betis on the 12th,' Oliveira told reporters.

'I like it here and have said I would like to complete my contract, which is until 2011, and maybe even extend it to 2015 if they want.'

The 25-year-old was given the green light to resume training again on Monday after five months out with injury.

He has not played since tearing the cruciate and lateral ligaments in his right knee during Betis's 1-0 Champions League victory over Chelsea at the beginning of November.

Betis removed him from their official squad list for the rest of this season but he hopes a temporary move will give him opportunities for competitive football he needs to make Brazil's World Cup squad.

Oliveira was Betis's leading scorer with 22 goals last season and was part of the Brazil squad that won the Copa America in 2004 and the Confederations Cup in 2005.
