Burnley manager Steve Cotterill has snapped up Manchester United defender Phil Bardsley on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old United youth product has made eight Barclays Premiership appearances for the Red Devils this season, mainly as a stand-in during Gary Neville's spell on the sidelines.
Bardsley has also made two appearances in the Champions League proper this season and goes straight into the squad for the Clarets' trip to Stoke at the weekend.
