AMSTERDAM, Jan 27 (Reuters) - A Shota Arveladze hat-trick helped AZ Alkmaar to a 4-1 win at Roda JC Kerkrade as they moved level with PSV Eindhoven at the top of the Dutch first division.

The Georgian striker scored in the second minute of Friday's match with a superb angled lob and restored Alkmaar's lead six minutes before halftime after Alexander Voigt had equalised.

Three minutes after the break Stijn Huysegems sealed the win and Arveladze grabbed his third four minutes later after he set up a defence splitting combination with Martijn Meerdink.

PSV, in action on Sunday at ADO Den Haag, have 48 points along with Alkmaar, who have played 21 games. Feyenoord, who visit Heracles Almelo on Sunday, are third on 45 points.
