AMSTERDAM, Jan 4 (Reuters) - Robert Maaskant has agreed an 18-month contract to become coach of RBC Roosendaal, bottom of the Dutch first division, for the third time in his career.

The club said in a statement on Wednesday that Maaskant, who won promotion with Roosendaal in 2000 and 2002, will succeed Dolf Roks who was sacked on Tuesday.

Maaskant left RBC in 2004 to join Willem II Tilburg who dismissed him in November.

RBC have only four points, and no wins, after 18 matches.
