GLASGOW, Jan 2 (Reuters) - Kilmarnock snatched a stoppage time leveller through Gary Wales at home to Hibernian for a 2-2 draw in their Scottish Premier League game on Monday.

Steve Naismith fired Kilmarnock ahead just before the half hour with a ferocious 25-yard shot which hurtled into the top right corner.

Hibs bounced back after the break with substitute Chris Hogg forcing the ball home in a goalmouth scramble for his first goal for the club and Garry O'Connor whipping a shot into the top left corner with five minutes to go.

Hibernian are third in the standings with 38 points, 13 adrift of leaders Celtic after 21 games. Kilmarnock are fifth with 33 points.

Celtic came from two goals down to win 3-2 win at second-placed Hearts on Sunday. Hearts trail Celtic by seven points while champions Rangers, who beat Dundee United 3-0 on Saturday, are fourth with 34.
