AMSTERDAM, Dec 20 (Reuters) - NEC Nijmegen coach Cees Lok has resigned after a year in the job, the club said on Tuesday.

Lok, who took over from Johan Neeskens, informed his squad on Monday after a Christmas party.

NEC, fifth in the Dutch first division, lost 3-0 at Groningen last Sunday after five consecutive wins.
