BASTIA, France, Aug 11 (Reuters) - Bastia and Cameroon defender Alexandre Song is set to join Arsenal on a one-year loan deal, the Corsican club announced on Thursday.

The two clubs have also agreed a fee of €4.0 million (£2.5 million) if the Premiership side decide to take up an option to sign the 19-year-old Song on a permanent basis at the end of the season.

Bastia spokesman Pierre Carlotti said: 'He (Song) is in London with the directors and he is in the process of sealing the deal.

'It will be a loan deal with an option to buy.'
