West Brom, West Ham, Newcastle United and Fulham have all made scouting missions to watch the Ivory Coast international, while Serie A side Napoli hold an interest.

Bony, who has hit 31 goals in the Eredivisie this season, recently revealed his preferred destination for next season would be a Premier League club.

Vitesse will not stand in his way after reaching an agreement to sell the 24-year-old in the summer window, but they are determined to cash in on their prized asset and have set a minimum fee of £10 million for any interested parties.

Bony's agent, Dalibor Lacina, told ESPN: "There have been negotiations and he will leave Vitesse when the season is finished. That has been agreed and we have to decide his best option.

"There are two English clubs that have made direct contact with Vitesse about his signing, but there are many others in England and in Europe. I know he has said he would prefer a move to the Premier League, but nothing has been concluded yet.

“He wants to finish the season in Holland and then will be free to decide where he goes. We have been in talks with some specific clubs and, as well as that, there is a group of big clubs which are waiting in the wings."

West Brom head coach Steve Clarke has Bony on his wanted list, with Peter Odemwingie and Marc-Antoine Fortune set to leave the Hawthorns this summer and doubts remaining over the futures of Markus Rosenberg and Romelu Lukaku.

Clarke still believes Albion have a 50-50 chance of persuading Chelsea to allow Lukaku to return on loan for next season – especially if close friend Jose Mourinho returns as manager to Stamford Bridge. Rosenberg, meanwhile, is likely to move on after a disappointing season, following last summer’s move from Werder Bremen.

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce has looked at Bony as an alternative for Andy Carroll, after admitting Liverpool’s asking price of around £17 million for the on-loan striker would make it almost impossible to strike a deal.

Napoli are also looking at Bony as a possible replacement for Edinson Cavani, who could depart this summer amid interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
