Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery has said he would "love" to sign a new deal at the Allianz Arena.

Bayern's Frank Ribery was left reeling by team-mate Bastian Schweinsteiger.

Last week, Bayern general manager Matthias Sammer signalled that the club intend to keep the France international beyond the end of his current deal which expires in 2015.

Ribery, who joined Bayern from Marseille in 2007, has been a key figure for his side during their Bundesliga-winning campaign, with kicker ranking him as the best player in the division this season.

"Franck will help us for a long time to come. He is part of FC Bayern," Sammer had said, and at the weekend, Ribery explained he is keen to extend his stay. "I’d love to," Ribery told kicker. "If it is possible to sign a new contract – why not?”

But there will be no new deal for Ukraine international Anatoly Tymoshchuk, who made a rare appearance in the starting XI during Bayern’s 1-1 draw at Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.

"My new club and FC Bayern have agreed to only announce it after the last game so there will be no unrest,” he told tz. “I will play in Europe next season, that’s as much as I can reveal.”
