Rumaropen faced the Indonesian governing body's (PSSI) disciplinary committee on Wednesday, where it was decided the Persiwa Wamena striker would not be permitted to play again.

The panel viewed video footage of the incident, in which Rumaropen is seen swinging a hook from behind the referee after the award of a penalty to the opposition, Pelita Bandung.

Muhaimin was taken to hospital, suffering excessive bleeding from the nose, and the game was stopped for 15 minutes before a replacement official took over and sent Rumaropen off.
