David Moyes believes that Everton's chances of Champions League qualification will stand or fall on their result at Arsenal on Tuesday.

Saturday's 2-0 Premier League win over Queens Park Rangers has left Moyes' side three points outside the top-four. And a win at Arsenal, who are third, would draw the Toffees level on points with fourth-placed Chelsea - although they will have played two games more than Rafa Benitez's team.

Everton's European hopes have been revived by a run which has seen them collect 13 points from the last 15 available. They must contend, though, with an awkward series of games that includes trips to Liverpool and to Stamford Bridge following Tuesday's match at the Emirates Stadium.

Moyes said: "If we beat Arsenal, you would talk about Everton having a real chance of getting into the Champions League.

"If we lose, you might talk about Everton having a chance of getting into the Europa League.

"That is what it is coming down to. The games are whittling away and it is getting much tighter.

"To have a chance of reaching the Champions League, we have to go there and attempt to win the game."
